Call for Abstracts

1. Duration for registration of presentation titles and submission of abstracts

Call for Abstracts is closed.

Registration of presentation titles and submission of abstracts are accepted only on-line.

2. Requirements for the registration of presentation titles

(1) About abstract text making

We recommend that you prepare the abstract text on your computer first and then copy and paste it within the framework for abstract text on the page for registration of presentation titles.

(2) About a registration number of presentation, a password

A registration number of presentation is given automatically once when it is registered. During the registration period, you can modify the abstract using a registration number and a password.

*Please secure a registration number and passwords by all means. Organizing secretariat will not accept an inquiry on this issue.

(3) About registration contents

Please verify the title of abstract, authors names, affiliations, and abstracts text thoroughly, because these items will appear as you registered in the program and abstracts book.

3. Entering format and characters

(1) For English abstracts

  • ①Text of the abstract should be 250 words or less in English. Prepare the abstract of a research report in the standard form of [Objective], [Methods], [Results] and [Conclusion]. For the abstract of a case report, prepare it in the standard form of [Objective], [Case], [Results] and [Conclusion].
    *It is possible that if any of these is not clearly mentioned, the report may not be accepted.
  • ②Total number of letters for author’s name, name of the organization you belong to, title, and text of the abstract should be 1980 one-byte letters or less including spaces.
  • ③Capitalize all the letters of your last name and only the first letter of your first name. (e.g.: Hanako (first name) Kyudai (last name) - Hanako KYUDAI)
    *Please note that no pictures or charts can be posted.
    *Abstracts and programs for the meeting will be published in the journal of the Japanese Society for the Temporomandibular Joint (a special issue featuring the meeting) and, therefore, no post-abstracts will be registered.

4. Cautions when submitting the title of presentations and abstracts

(1) About a login ID and a password

Please decide any login ID of a registrant, password (as for the password half size alphanumeric character 6-8 characters). Using a login ID and a password, you can change the item which you registered again and again (until the midday of April 7, 2014). A login ID and the password are necessary for receipt confirmation, adoption or rejection confirmation other than registration of presentation, a modification and variation. Please record it by all means. About these, it is not accepted an inquiry at all by relations of the security.

(2) About the deletion of the presentation

Please inquire for the deletion of the presentation to the Organizing Secretariat.

5. Presentation style

(1) Poster presentation

Size of poster and method of presentation will be informed on our website.

(2) Acceptance/rejection result

Please leave the acceptance/rejection decision up to the program study committee.
[Excellent Poster Award]
From among presented posters, the best poster will be selected to receive the Excellent Poster Award.
